My son Tyson was thrilled when I showed him his advent calendar this year! We've discovered the very cool LEGO Advent Calendar! This is the first year he's been interested in Lego. Every day you get a new little lego toy. A snowman. a Piano. a figure. a skateboard & ramp. very cool! Anyways, we spent 2 dayas at Apex mountain resort this past weekend (which for us is Sunday/monday) Tyson was so upset we forgot the calendare at home! Every morning he gets so excited. "Mom today is December six!!" lol Ya so this was not good.. bad mommy for leaving it behind!! I had hoped that the Tobogganing and hot chocolate would help him to forget... but nothing did ! haha. Once we got home though he was thrilled to get to open TWO doors at once! ha. SEE... I knew what i was doing! ;)
Oh another note. I was blessed to photograph a cute little family while I was up at Apex! These two little men as super adorable!! Enjoy a few little teasers! I've only opened 2 doors on my advent calendar (but its not as cool as Tyson's!). I'm hoping that means I have longer to enjoy my Christmas decorations :)

ReplyDeleteYou can get them at either Toys R us or Walmart :) Probably Zellers too :) I also hear they have neat ones at Winners!
ReplyDeleteLove the lego calendar !!! I usually don't like the advent calendar, chocolate first thing in the morning for young kids is not really my favorite... I'll have to go search for one of those though!!!

Love the wintery sessions:) And the lego calendar of course:) we got the girls Playmobil for Christmas so though we'd get her started with the girly playmobil advent calendar; and yes, MUCH better than chocolate ( well, not in MY opnion, but hers is what counts, right)?!
